Antero Hot Springs – found in the San Isabel National Forest near Nathrop Colorado. Pools range from 100-112 degrees, you can get a wide range of types of massages, there they have cabins you can stay in as well with an amazing view of the landscape with a 1,500ft cliff that surrounds the property and the wildlife. Aqua Hot Spring and Cabin – located near Chalk Creek, CO. This geothermal mineral hot spring temperatures range from 101-108 degrees. The pools are actually away separate away from the flowing creek. They also have in-house massage and a Zen Garden which is so cool. You will have to look on their website for all the rates they vary. Here is the link to their website.
Avalanche Ranch Cabins and Hot Springs – located near Redstone, CO. This Hot Springs features three natural hot spring pools that are in a tiered layout. They are open year round and have night availability. The landscape around the Hot Springs is super cool you are in a canyon and can see part of Mt. Sopris. Day visitors pay $25/person and your reservation is for a three hour time slot. There are also cabins you can rent on site. Here is the link to their website.
Box Canyon Lodge and Hot Springs – located near Ouray, CO. There are a lot of activities around this Hot Springs because it is located right near the town and many outdoor activities like ice climbing, rock climbing, off-roading, snowmobiling….etc. can be found here. The temperatures in the tubs range from 103-108 degrees. What is cool about this hot spring it does not have that sulfur odor that turn a lot of people away and the 360 degree view is spectacular. Cottonwood Hot Springs Inn and Spa – located near Buena Vista, CO. They have rustic cabins you can rent allowing you to have your own private soaking pools. The temperatures in the springs range from 94-110 degrees. They are open 7 days a week 8am-10pm. It’s $20 Monday-Thursday for an adult and on Friday-Sunday it is $24 for an adult. At the spa there is also a dry sauna, massage therapists, hot stone therapy, acupressure and much more. Here is the link to their website.
Desert Reef Hot Springs – located near Florence, CO. This hot springs is a little secluded with insane mountain views, sunshine all the time, and a comfortable atmosphere; making it one of my favorite places to go. During the summer months the average temperature of the pools are 94-96 degrees and during the winter months ranges from 100-102 degrees. This hot spring does offer optional days for not having to wear your bathing suit. Day passes are $20. Hours are Wednesday 10-10; Friday & Saturday 10-10 and Sunday 10-6. Dunton Hot Springs – located near Telluride, CO. Temperatures range from 85-106 degrees. Right near the hot springs there are many activities including; hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing and much more. Here is the link to their website.
Durango Hot Springs Resort and Spa – located near Durango, CO. Temperatures in the pools reach the surface at 120 degrees. They offer over 17 massages, facials, and body treatments all of which you can choose from. Open from 9-10pm daily. They do sell daily passes as well as season passes. Glenwood Hot Springs – located in Glenwood Springs. This is the World’s Largest Hot Springs; there are 15 minerals found in the water. It is $29.25 for adults and teens and after 8pm it goes down to $18.75. The hot springs are 9am-9pm. Here is the link to the website.
Great Sand Dunes Recreation Natural Hot Artesian Water – located near Hooper, CO. They are open from 1pm-8pm and are closed on Thursdays. Prices are $15 for Adults and 13 & over, you can also buy individual monthly passes and couple passes and family passes. Here is the link to their website.
Healing Waters Resort and Spa – located near Pagosa Springs. Hours are 8am-10pm daily. Rates are $15 for adults. They have a large outdoor swimming pool and an outdoor tub that has 100% mineral water ranging in temperatures. Here is the link to their website.
Hot Springs Vapor Caves – also know as the Yampah Spa located in Glenwood Springs, CO. Super unique underground hot mineral water steam baths know as the historic hot springs. Water flows through the cave floors around 125 degrees. They are open from 9am-9pm. Daily passes are $17, for all the other amenities and treatments does cost more and is found on their site. Hot Sulphur Springs Resort and Spa – located near Hot Sulphur Springs, CO. You have to book a 2 hour window for the Hot Springs and can choose them on the website, prices for the 2 hours are $20. Here is the link for their website.
Indian Hot Springs – located in Idaho Springs, CO. Pool is open from 9am-10pm. They have a mineral water swimming pool with temperatures ranging around 90-115 degrees. Prices for the pool are $18/person, Monday -Thursday and $20/person, Friday-Sunday and holidays. My favorite is the Geo-Thermal Caves they were built between 1903-1911. Temperatures range from 104-112 degrees and open from 7:30am-10:30pm. Prices are $22/person, Monday – Thursday and $24/person, Friday – Sunday & holidays. They also have outdoor Jaccuzis. Iron Mountain Hot Springs – located in Glenwood Springs, CO. They have 16 geothermal soaking pools, located right next to the Colorado River. Temperatures range from 98-108 degrees. You have to buy passes online. Here is the link to their website.
Juniper Hot Springs – located northwest Colorado outside of Lay in Moffat County. There is one large pool and 4 smaller pools and the temperatures range around 102 degrees. There is a small fee to use the hot springs, pretty secluded but very nice and relaxing. Here is the link to their website.
Mount Princeton Hot Springs – located in Nathrop, CO. This is an odorless hot springs that have temperatures from the ground around 140 degrees and 105 degrees from the top of the pool. There is a creek side hot springs and an infinity pool, prices are $20 Monday – Thursday and $25 Friday – Saturday. Here is the link to their website.
Old Town Hot Springs – located in Steamboat Springs. Pool temperatures are about 102-104 degrees. This hot springs does have a waterfall hot pool which is so cool. This place has a wide range of activities super cool, open daily from 7am-9pm. Here is the link to their website.

Conundrum Hot Springs – hike the Conundrum Creek Trail to Conundrum Hot springs which is located near Aspen, Colorado is an 18mile hard out and back trail. You will need to get a permit to overnight camp and soak in the hot springs. Visit recreation.gov to find this permit or click here. You start at around 8,800ft and the hot springs is located at 11,200ft. A very rewarding hike for sure and very primative.
Penny Hot Springs – is a naturally fed hot mineral water free to use in the Crystal River, just outside Carbondale, CO. You will park on the side of Highway 133 and hike the little ways down the embankment to the pools. There are around 6 or so pools and depending on the height of the water pools may vary. Super cool to go when it’s snowing or on a night with many stars.
Piedra River Hot Springs – a naturally fed hot spring along the Piedra River south of Pagosa Springs. You will have a little hike to the springs, might be a little difficult in the winter and early spring the pools may be covered in ice or snow.
Radium Hot Springs – primitive warm springs on the Colorado River north of Kremmling, south of Eagle. Check the water levels because the pools might be washed out when the river is high. A short 1.1 mile hike will get you to the springs, there is also free camping near here as well called Mugrage Campground located on BLM lands.
Rainbow Hot Springs – is a primitive and isolated hot springs north of Pagosa Springs. There is a 4.5 mile one-way hike to the springs but is very rewarding and the landscape is breathtaking. This springs is located along the San Juan River. The average temperatures range from 95-105 degrees.
South Canyon Hot Springs – is pretty undeveloped right outside of Glenwood Springs and does require a little hike to get to the springs but so worth it. Temperatures range from 100-112 and it is full of hot natural mineral water.
